Mike Davison -Executive/Senior Producer at:
Innocean Worldwide, Ogilvy & Mather, NW Ayer, FCB, Hal Riney & Partners, Suissa Miller, Dentsu

I am a producer who can turn almost any idea in to reality at this point with a winning combo of agency, production company and network high end line production/execution experience for 20+ years. Versatile, A-game/go-for-it minded with incredibly accurate (time saving/problem preventing) judgement and wisdom based on having tiny to HUGE, typical to crazy freelance job experience. Capable of smoothly, effectively executing any combination of multi-format media within one project. Experienced Quarterback of entire integrated campaigns, branded content, broadcast TV commercials, events, print producing, corporate video to network promos, EPK/BTS/Making of, social media, radio and funky creative experiments – all of the above?

Whatever complex combo you need, the first thing I do is listen. I absorb as much specific info from team/client, so I can clearly wrap my head around the project creative scope in order own it from top down from prep to shoot or event carefully steering it thru to successful post production finishing and delivery. 100% track record of on budget and on time. Knowing how to create a financially efficient yet realistic budget that still achieves the highest caliber of a projects goals is achieved by knowing where to best distribute budget dollars smartly, always thinking of the best final outcome. Now we just need to get the client excited!

I LOVE to prep. I enjoy the imaginative, passionate conversations with creative teams. I like having my mind blown and involvement in creative brain storming. I creatively collaborate with my client teams to present as many creative choices and options that I can and predict few good work-arounds for flagged potential issues. All details of which will be meticulously thought thru, researched, assessed, priced out, agents and artist talent engaged, then findings re-presented. Next is a precisely laid out schedule and logistics plan of attack, keeping all teams on the same page, hitting approval markers, facilitating changes, averting problems and making that magic happen. No detail forgotten.

Collaboration and communication is king.

PRECISION prep and organization throughout; keeps you ready for those surprise curve balls that will undoubtedly happen along the way.

Being naturally friendly human, forthright communicator, respectful, with sense of humor and playful demeanor usually results in getting the most out of people and good vibes all around. I can offer creative taste without stepping on the toes of the actual creatives while keeping client perspective represented. I am comfortable client facing and have confidence in my trust building by having the expertise to show their project is in solid hands. Also, always giving support to my staff and crew with open communication, clear information and providing as many tools they need to do their best job, that the budget will allow - only then, I can be as demanding as I need to be.

Competence, calm, critical/ analytical thinker, savvy problem solver who is always considering 4 steps ahead, can explain decision results and effects before triggers are pulled, ninja of multi-tasking and an expert communicator (in all forms).

It's good when problems can be averted before they are one. What's left is the time to create, explore and have a bit of fun!
