Need to know enough about each department and how it operates in order to best support their needs, encourage their best job and still keep streamlined to stay in budget. The role demands continuous sound judgment, decision making, vendor mgmt, negotiation across all cost categories, and proactive risk management to resolve issues before they impact execution & delivery. Strategic, effective logistical planning of equipment  & permits, people, location management, transportation, waste disposal, construction, and coordination of complex technical setups.

Adult Swim/Turner Broadcasting / ATL          - Line Producer, Original Content Division                    

Hired to build a new creative content physical production development division within AdultSwim digital thru the utilization of my track record of a high functioning team work flow structure and execution skills.  Main priorities were to create relationships with outside illustrators, comedians, animators, writers, content shooters and vendors, create & manage departmental budget with AdultSwim corporate finance and ultimately produce/edit/air all the original content including animation, live action and VFX created by our department. Consulted daily with Standards & Practices and legal clearance department.  

 

Reelz Channel / New Mexico            -   Line Producer, Original Programming Division                     

Teamed with creative and corporate management in the development of new Original Programming production division.  Implemented execution structure, work flow procedures, staff role responsibilities, task delegation of creative department staff members and editorial team.  Collaborated with PR and marketing departments to create promos and marketing materials for shows.  Created episodic show budgets, Line Produce and financial tracking, aided in real people talent search, connecting and engaging potential "fanatics" to be on show, oversaw and coordinated between field production company and internal story, programming and editorial departments throughout production of "Fan Addicts" a 10 episode reality series.  In addition, Line Produced the shooting of "Richard Roeper Game Show" pilot and advised on other ongoing projects in development.  Responsible for progress reports of all ongoing projects with Reelz Channel corporate finance dept.   

 

Aero Film / LA               -         Head of Production, Post Production Coordinator              

Oversaw day to day actions of 10 support staff from receptionist to lead editor.  Daily coordination daily of the post finishing process/VFX thru delivery & financial tracking/client overage approval of projects with in-house post department, clients and outside post vendors; including CGI, 2D, 3D, animation.  Duties included liaison with directors/clients, agents/reps, day to day functioning of internal personnel and outside vendors to support simultaneous freelance teams in-house during pre-production and wrap thru post delivery to client.  Responsible for car shoot planning and bid research in order to present the right team, where to shoot, logistics planning of how we are going to be able to get the job done and what the right budget number is to do it.  Heavy project bidding - international and domestic - at the multi-million dollar level.  Very client facing and worked with agency cost controllers to ensure job award.  This company shot primarily for automotive clients.

@ Radical Media / NYC          -        Head of Production, Post Production Coordinator                              

Pre-Production prep, treatment creation and research with in-house directors, agents and LOC mgrs; then oversaw simultaneous multiple freelance teams on large productions on a daily basis.  Shoot problem solving as base camp support with production teams shooting in the field, bid review, @ Radical protocol support and post production coordination with Directors and clients. Oversaw internal production support staff.  Produced PSA's and pet projects for our directors.

Avrett, Free & Ginsberg Advertising / NYC           Associate Producer, Casting Director

For 3yrs, I supported both personal and professional tasks, one of the toughest Producer/Heads of Production in NY and 3 Senior Producers.  She demanded nothing less than perfection and taught me well. I was involved in every aspect of the creative development process including the early concept research stage, costing out ideas and location research. Then I post production coordinated the finishing of ALL spots for each producer simultaneously.  Scheduled every edit session, made sure all attendees and every element needed for each session was prepared and waiting for producers, negotiated rates and handled/approved all post and talent invoicing, worked with our internal studio pushing thru approval process and making sure comps on print campaigns were to per client specs, etc.  

I was SO high functioning, I was made THE Casting Director for the entire agency within 3 months of hire.  Working with agents, organizing casting calls, directing and recording auditions in-house, selecting and negotiating principal OC, Models, child, Voice Over and celebrity talent - for multiple creative teams to review, for national radio and broadcast TV commercials.

Executed 2 completely different - 1 night only, mid-cruise events - myself and production designer plus build team - environment, theme design, fabrication, installation, decoration on board ship during around the world passenger cruise  (6 month project prep)
