"Kim Carey is a colleague of mine who I hold in the highest esteem. Of the many outstanding qualities that she possesses, I would rate communication and problem solving as her best. Producers, whether on the agency side or the production side are, after all, problem solvers because that's the job description. In the productions that I worked on with Kim, she was always on top of the details as well as the bigger picture. No surprises. On schedule. Under budget. It constantly amazes me that since communication is the business that we're in, how badly so many of us do it. But not Kim Carey. Very focused. Very professional. Very thorough. Very personable. Her experience on both sides of the production aisle and the knowledge that comes from it, allow her to cut through the bullshit and focus her team on getting the desired results. Kim is an accomplished producer of content. Doesn't matter if it's digital, film, post or data, it's all at her command. I would work with Kim again in a heartbeat and if you have the chance, you should too."

"As the President/CEO of one of LA’s premier post facilities, Post Logic, and managing partner of Below the Radar, a Hollywood VFX boutique, I’ve worked with literally hundreds of production folks throughout the years. Kim Carey is among the best Producers I’ve worked with.

I could use all of the hottest descriptive words like organized, dedicated, financially prudent, knowledgeable, professional, etc. to describe Kim. These accolades however have become common and are too easily used. The reality though… with Kim, they’re all true!! She’s the real deal!  She comes with my highest recommendation!”

I met Kim Carey when I was the Production Director/Line Producer at Hallmark Channel. Kim was hired as the local LP/production supervisor for the live-action and still photography launch campaign shoot with Martha Stewart.

Kim is not only knowledgeable about production practices, but is calm under pressure and thinks fast on her feet. Her ability to keep all the moving parts organized and stay within budget was a tremendous feat given multiple shoot locations and dealing with high profile talent. I highly recommend Kim as I've gotten to know her over the years and know she is an asset to any team. I would hire her again in a heartbeat!

Current: Sr.Manager, Photo Production, NBC Universal/NYC

Former: Production Director/Line Producer at Hallmark Channel

I continue to hire Kim Carey as my Producer every opportunity I get. Whether it’s a 27 day live action union shoot or a gorilla-style shoot with a skeleton crew, I can rely on her experience and resourcefulness. She has the rare skill of being a highly skilled negotiator while making everyone feel like they were treated fairly. Her attention to detail serves and is appreciated by all in pre-production, shooting and post production. In working together, Kim has shown to be equally adept in handling moronic clients, diva celebrities or 50 non-union child actors and all with a smile on her face. Her enthusiasm and endurance keeps crews going even during the longest days. A selfless team player who quickly becomes the most valuable member of any project.

Kim Carey is a go-getter. I hired Kim as a freelance producer for my agency and she quickly showed that it was a good decision. She knows how to squeeze quality out of every dollar, manage complex film projects and keep everyone smiling in the process. You can't find someone with more passion to do great work.
